I've decided on my big winter project -- sort of. I know that I want to make a Dale of Norway sweater. But I can't decide on the pattern. My plan was to make Besseggen:

But I really have my eye on Jubileum from the Dale of Norway Heilo 60th Anniversary book. Wendy made this sweater and you can see it in her gallery (along with lots of other cool stuff!) I can *not* find this book though! If anyone out there has a copy they want to sell, or knows of someone who has it for sale, *please* let me know. I spent over an hour searching the web for this book to no avail. TIA!

Julie --
I found a couple of retailers who sell Jubileum as a kit. Not sure if this is what you want or not...

Well, that first one is a cardigan that looks very different from the sweater I'm interested in. And the second one is what I want, I think. The picture is so bad, that I can't tell. I have sent them an email, so we'll see. Those are the same two that I ran across in my search. I couldn't even find the book through any used book sites. Ugh.

I hope you find Jubileum. It's superb.
Have you thought about e-mailing Wendy & asking her if she'd cosider seling the pattern to you.Or you could join yahoo Norgeknit[Wendy's list] and ask on there.

Get on this one--mighty purty. I have a long-term plan to do a Dale sweater someday and it'll be fun to watch you make one.

It is exciting to hear you are taking the plunge into creating a Dale of Norway sweater. It is something that is in my way-distant future, like a decade or so from now. I hope you find your perfect pattern.

I was able to get Jubileum as a kit from Velona earlier this year. I had them make up the kit in a different colorway than the original pattern (and different from Wendy's). The kit included the book, and at the time, they said they had just a few left but were only selling it with the kits. Sorry -- I haven't knit it yet or I'd sell you the pattern.

Julie was absolutely fabulous, the shipping was *very* quick, and she takes PayPal.
Good Luck.
Best wishes,
