I'm still here!
Whew! The holidays are wearing me out. All plans today are cancelled so that I can rest and relax. I mean it! (Pete will not believe this. I'm the type who never relaxes. He says that relaxing is the thing I most need to learn how to do.)

I have found a little time to knit. I usually knit for a couple hours before going to sleep. It relaxes me and I seem to have nice fiber dreams some nights! In fact, the bags that I design usually come to me in the middle of the night -- isn't that strange?
At any rate, you see that I finished one mitten. Maddie loves it and has been wearing it around. I really need to get going on mitten #2. (Oh yeah -- I also have an unmatched sock for her.)
But most of my knitting time has been spent on knitting a Booga Bag for our funky niece Beth. She is a very hip young college student and I think this colorway will be great for her. It is Noro Kureyon in color 126 and I love the narrow stripes. I hope Beth likes it too!
I got the Kureyon at ThreadBear along with a lot more goodies. (Yarn dieters, please avert your eyes!)
There is some Arucania there in a lovely blue (10) which Miss Madeleine picked out for her very own Madeleine Bag. And three skeins of Arucania in a gorgeous espresso brown (19). I think that this will become a new bag of some sort (what else?)

And that is a skein of Crystal Palace Cotton Chenille too! I couldn't resist the cute Flower Washcloths in the latest I also got some other goodies too: the Winter SpinOff, some Meilenweit sock yarn and more Kureyon. More on those at a later date.
Ring Surf has been a little messed up. They switched over to a completely new system and I don't think it was really complete when they did it. If the ring is wacky or you are trying to get in and haven't, just be patient. I've been spending a lot of time trying to fix things but they aren't processing correctly and I'm having to add people several times before they are actually in the ring. Hopefully things will be running smoothly soon!
Nice shopping.Totally fab Booga bag - I really like those narrow stripes too.
Yes,just relax.knit another gorgeous little mitten. :0)

I love the wash cloths and I think they make a great girly gift with a bar of luxury soap. The bag is gorgeous too (like all the rest. Your booga bag pattern is my favorite of all the ones i've seen yet and plan to make it in the next week or so. Keep up the good knitting...while you rest that is!

The colorway on your latest bag is wonderful. I really like it. It will be interesting to see how it felts up. I've finished 4 of 7 Booga J Bags for holiday gifts - it is my favorite gift-giving item this year! Thanks!
