Look what arrived on my front porch on Friday evening! Remember when I had a bad day last week? Well, I decided to reward myself. After *much* searching, I found a yarn store that had the new Noro Knits book and 13 skeins of Kureyon in color 148. This was not at all easy, but I finally found everything at Yarn Market. I'm pleased to say that they were *fast* and friendly. I even called before placing my order to make sure that everything was in stock and to find out how quickly they would ship. I was desperate to have this before the weekend so that I could make this:
That's Butterfly from Noro Knits. Isn't it pretty? This is the first design in a long time that I have fallen in love with. Just ask Pete, I was literally waiting by the door for UPS to arrive! I worked diligently on it all weekend and I will have some progress to show tomorrow!

That IS pretty! It scares the heck out of me just looking at it (hee) but it is pretty. (I mean it's way beyond my ability.)

Everytime I see this book and this pattern I have to remind myself that I have so much yarn in my stash... it really makes me want to run out and purchase a bunch of Silk Garden. It'll be fun watching yours come together!

How wonderful! It will be wonderful to see this design come together! I love that one. There is a Noro drought in NC, even as we are inundated with hurricane related rain. Why can't it rain Noro.

It's amazing how jealous (or is it envious?) I get. That kit looks astounding, and I wish I owned it (I may yet).
And, the design is and extraordinary use of Noro Kureyon. I wish I had designed it.
I'll be needing to check back often on your progress.

I can't wait to see the progress you've made on it. The color you picked is pretty so it will look fab on you.

I just ordered yarn for Butterfly too. And Amy(http://www.quixoticpixels.com/wp/)is making it too. A knitalong perhaps? :)

I love it. I want it. I'm just trying to decide on 147 or 148. And...I really do need to knit up some stash projects first. Sigh.
I can't wait to see yours.

I like the format of your knitting gallery page. I have seen a number of knitters use this format, and would like to post my own page. Where do I go to get stated?
