One of your links is dead. Knitting copyright is covered at:

www.geocities.com/jbtocker/copyright/

In particular:

www.geocities.com/jbtocker/copyright/copyrfaq7.html

Sandra --

My links are all fine. And you are annoying me. You don't need to come here anymore or leave any comments.

Actually Julie, the girl from auntie link doesn't work. If you look on her main site, it looks like she's switching things over and the copyright for crafters is temporarily down.

Not to say that certain other comments people make aren't snarky, but that one's true.

Julie

I just checked the link and it's working fine for me. Are you getting some kind of error message.

And I asked Sandra not to come here anymore because of other comments she has been making on my blog.

Thanks for offering more clarification on an often confusing issue. I have made mistakes in this area before but it's about admitting your mistakes and correcting them. Oh, and I appreciate that you have designed things that inspire me. Thanks!

PLEASE fellow crafters...let's not get this 'holier than thou' or lower ourselves by putting others down! Let's face it, reading through the Copyright law is very tedious...I have found a site that is very clear and comprehensive for us ALL! Our craft should not cause so much dismay. Julie is right- "When in doubt-just ask!!" Very simple! Linking free stuff is very easy! Now, I'll admit, the f-r-e-e word still was giving my some trouble, so I did my research and here it is:
http://crochet.about.com/library/weekly/aa031200.htm Enjoy and let's go buy some more yarn now! :)

I get an error with your link too, but if you take off the index.asp, it works for me:
http://www.girlfromauntie.com/copyright/

I think it's a shame that it has to be spelled out when your "when in doubt, ask!" policy is the easiest to remember!

I'm sorry that someone is taking credit for your work. That is a shitty thing to do.

Julie

Hopefully the link works for everyone now! It has been working for me all along, so I can't tell if it's fixed. Let me know if anyone is still getting an error.

Julie, I am the one who emailed you about the woman posting your pattern on her site. Sorry she is so clueless and rude about what she has done. Keep making your great bags and try not to let it worry you too much, it is NOT worth losing sleep over.
