A couple of years ago I went up to Michigan Fiber Fest and got to experience my first Cormo. Yum! So when I saw the Cormo booth, I knew that I was going to be making some purchases. I showed some restraint and only bought two small bags of roving from Foxhill Farm. They are both 90% Cormo and 10% Tussah Silk.
And that's spindle #2! It's a Bosworth Midi but it's lightweight (like a mini) because it's made out of Red Cedar. (It smells as great as it looks!) And it should be perfect for spinning the Cormo/Angora blend that I have had sitting around for awhile. I was spinning it on my Kundert, but it was just too heavy for the soft, slippery roving and I was getting singles that were *really* thin.
More from the suitcase later. . .

I love that rusty color, so pretty. I just made my first attempt at spinning this week and it's so much fun.

I've been drooling over the Bosworth spindles... I may have to get one for my birthday! Your roving looks delish!

I'll have to keep a look out for Cormo at our up coming event. I haven't felt any before.
After seeing some other blog photos I realized our little event is about a fifth of the size, but still great fun!

Is Cormo the new heroin?
;-)
Perhaps I should stop working now and spin up some CVM!
