This is Pete (Julie's husband) and I wanted to let you all know that her tonsillectomy went flawlessly, and she's now home in bed recuperating. She's obviously very sore, but she's on codeine (which already made her feel much better) and antibiotics, and even braved eating some sherbet a while ago. And I'm taking it as a good sign that she just asked me to bring her knitting to her!
Thanks to all of you for keeping her in your thoughts!

Oh, Julie, I am glad to hear you are on the mend! You package will go in the mail tommarow, hopefully it will being a bit of joy to your recoverey:)

Well, asking for the knitting, even if strongly under the influence of pain drugs, IS a good sign!

Feel better babe - and when you are feeling better.... eat ALL the ice cream you can!! Because really when it eating a bananna split three meals a day ok at any other time in your adult like (ok... so you have to be feeling really better for that... but come on... it's worth dragging out the pain a little longer for that!!)
Ok - really get well soon!!!
