Feeling crappy

Tea

Something has got me down.  I have been getting terrible headaches, sinus troubles and general lethargy (which is aggravating my depression issues -- but that's another story).  So I'm sipping some hot tea with honey -- really wish I didn't use all my lemons last week now.  Allergies?  A cold? Am I getting my sister's sinus infection?  (No fever, so I don't think that's it.) Not sure of the cause, but I'm really feeling blah.

On a related note.  Where do you buy your tea?  I've bought mine from several places, including Adagio.  I really need to order some new loose tea now that the weather is turning cooler and I'm wondering who has the good stuff.  Leave me a comment and let me know your favorite online tea shop!

Sorry to hear that you are feeling under the weather, Julie. I hope you feel better soon.
I have ordered from Adagio as well. Another shop that I have used is Red Blossom Tea (www.redblossomtea.com). I like their Rose Kuan Yin (under Anxi Oolong teas). I'm looking forward to reading the other online tea shops that people use!

I am so sorry that you are feeling this way. Seems to be going around a lot on the blogs. Heres to holding you up!

Oh, I'm sorry you're not feeling well! I can give you a whole LIST of tea places--I linked to a specific post of mine from January in my comment--and be sure to read the comments on that post, too. Lots of suggestions!

Harney and Sons has THE BEST tea. They are an American company that actually sells to the royal family. How great is that! I love their Irish Breakfast. Just good, straight tea.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well. By the way, I get sinus infections and headaches even without a fever. I take Advil for it. My favourite on line teashop is Whittards of Cheslea, http://www.whittard.com/
They have really good stuff. Try the Morning Reviver if you have the chance. I hope you will get better soon. Take care.

I'm an Adagio fan myself, though I do buy some amazing loose tea from a local vendor (not sure if they sell online).

And here's my recipe for a good pick-me-up loose tea: add equal parts fresh peppermint and chamomile teas to your strainer/cup/pot, steep 5 to 7 minutes, drink. Whenever my friends are sick I show up with a collection of homemade teabags of this tea for them. I am told it is amazing with honey, but I am not a sweetener myself.

Harney and Sons HANDS DOWN. I'm addicted to green tea with citrus and ginkgo.

I hope you feel better soon! That combination? Just no fun at all. Hugs.

I actually love adagio!

I have only been to the retail store at Mall of America in Minnesota but I see they have an online store too: Teavana
http://www.teavana.com/

Hope you feel better soon! I'm not a tea drinker too often so can't offer a suggestion, but have heard great things about Adagio!

Sorry you're under the weather! Our fav place for ordering tea is The Tea Table (http://www.theteatable.com). They used to be a brick and mortar shop in the downtown area here and then went to Internet only. But, since we're local there are a couple different locations where we can pick up our orders so we don't have to pay both tax and shipping. But they have a nice broad selection and good service.

You are so lucky, I miss my herbal tea. Being pregnant, my midwife has told me no herbal teas until after the baby as there isn't enough research on what different herbs do to the baby. *pout* Small price to pay. Drink a cup or two for me.

Peets

I've had great luck with Stash Tea http://www.stashtea.com. Feel better soon!

I like Teavanna tea - especially the STrawberry Kiwi herbal blend and sometimes I mix it with Peach Rooiboos.

My favorite tea store is:

My favorite tea for fall is Karl-Heinz.

I'm here from Claudia's Blog.

I really like Tealuxe (http://www.tealuxe.com/goto/ourteas.html), though I live close enough to just go to one of their shops rather than order online. I love their Victorian Rose Tea. It just smells like an English garden.

I also like Gyoukuro, but it is a strong green tea that can take some getting used to.
