Flu!

I don't remember the last time I came down with the flu.  In fact, since I got out my tonsils a couple years ago, I really don't get seriously sick much at all.  So when I started to feel ill on Monday afternoon I was not prepared.  Whoa!  I'm feeling better now and my fever broke during the night, but I'm still weak and a bit queasy.  I suppose I'm lucky, a lot of people have been down for a week with this year's flu -- but let me tell you -- two days was enough for me.

I just hope Maddie stays healthy -- Pete stayed home from work yesterday to take care of her, so I'm hoping she -- and he -- don't get it, yikes!

Gack! Oh yes, we had that strain hit our house this year in February. Not pleasant, it had my hubby and I both out of work for a week. I was miserable, being pregnant, I wasn't allowed to have any sort of prescription meds, only Tylenol and Robitussin. Glad to hear you only had to deal with this for two days.

Ugh! I managed to miss the stomach flu but we passed around a nice head cold. I lost my voice for 4 days.

Hope you make a complete recovery soon, and that you don't pass it on :)

Definitely anti-antibacterialize everything! Wipe down the light switches and the phone and the remotes!

I came down with the flu about a month ago and I was out of work for a week. Very sick for a few days and then really tired for a few more. Keep resting or it will take you longer to get over it!

Hope you feel better soon.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that! Glad to hear you're on the mend, though. Keep feeling better, and I'm sending healthy-vibes to one and all....

Feel better soon.

I have never been sicker than I was with this thing in November. Rest! Fluids! Understanding family members!

I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Hope everyone is well there. I managed to avoid the flu this year. Hope you are feeling better.

BTDT, and I was down for a week -- hope you continue to feel better!
