Making a few changes on the blog -- a new wintry banner for one, and also the little twitter thingy over there to the right. I am a latecomer to twitter, but it is a fun little thing. I'm not connected up to a lot of people on there yet, but I'm getting started.
One of my goals for 2009 is to get connected. This past year I feel like I've stepped away from the online crafting community a bit and in the coming year, I want to get back on board. I'm trying to comment more on posts and write more posts too. Hopefully I can keep this up!
Twitter is so much fun! I try to remember to tag my knitting tweets with #knitting, but sometimes I fail at that. My weekly knitting group is pretty much organized via Twitter.

I've felt disconnected the last year or more, too, and I have the same hopes as you for the new year. I'll comment and hang out on your blog if you comment and hang out at mine! ;)
I got the BAKED cookbook on your recommendation; awesome! And also I think our family is current (for the moment) on the Indiana Jones legos. :)

I loved twitter until I couldn't check in on people through google reader. That took a lot of the fun out of it. But I still post a bit when I think of it
