With the economy as bad as it is, pretty much everyone I know is cutting back. I'm a very frugal person in general -- quite fond of saving my pennies for a rainy day -- but there are some things that I indulge in. So I'm going to try to list a few on the blog from time to time.
My first indulgence -- and it is truly a daily indulgence -- is Intelligentsia Coffee. While a pound of beans from here might seem pricey, if you are brewing your coffee at home, you are going to end up saving in the long run. And this is *awesome* coffee. I've seriously never had any better coffee form anywhere else. (Starbucks pales miserably by comparison.)
So, what is your little indulgence?

Like you, I indulge in good coffee. I usually order it from my favorite roaster in Madison (Steep & Brew) and have it shipped cross country!
There's always good chocolate, of course, which varies depending on where I've shopped recently.
My latest little indulgence is laceweight yarn. I feel like I get a lot of knitting "bang for the buck" from a single purchase. My particular weakness right now is for Handmaiden Sea Silk. It feels fabulous, looks lovely, and you can make a good sized scarf or shawl out of a single skein.

I'm bad -- I definitely have more than one indulgence. But probably my favorite one is my monthly appointment for my facial. My aesthetician is independent, so I like to think that maintaining this somewhat larger indulgence is not only good for my skin, but also good for the local economy.
Of course, I also share your enthusiasm for Intelligentsia.
And hand knit socks :-)

One of mine is Häagen-Dazs coffee ice cream. :x
Right now I buy ground Dunkin Donuts coffee for my morning cup. I like it better than Starbucks and "fancy bagged" Folgers, which has a fishy kind of smell to me. yuck.
