Finally saw Doubt
this past weekend and it was excellent. My man has posted a nice succinct review.

I wanted to see that but it seemed to come & go so fast - it's now on pay per view (or was a few weeks ago) - I think I'll wait for HBO. I can highly recommend The Queen & I - an HBO documentary about the widow of the Shah of Iran made by a woman who participated in the revolution which overthrew the Shah. What makes it particularly fascinating is that the film maker had the good sense to recognize that the real story was not about how Farah was implicated in any of the Shah's repressive ctions but about the developing relationship between the 2 women who seem to be politically opposite.
It's been sitting on top of my TV for around three weeks now. I don't know why I haven't watched it, I guess I'm expecting it to be too heavy or depressing or something... we'll watch it soon, thanks for the push.
