With all the noise and such around here, we've been trying to get out of the house now and then in order to remain sane. So on Friday Maddie and I headed out to Oswego for an estate sale. Although I found a couple things that I would have bought if the prices were a bit lower, I came home empty handed. However, Maddie, my thrifter in training, found something she could not leave behind -- an old Brunswick bowling pin.
I personally don't know anything about bowling collectibles, which was a good thing. As soon as she got home, she was on the internet doing research, just like I do when I bring treasures home. And regardless of how much it is worth, she really loves it -- which I think is the best judge of a vintage item's value.
