Lovely photos. It's during drought like this that you really find out what foliage is native to the dry Midwest and what isn't. Our grass certainly isn't, but the hydrangeas, black-eyed susans and coneflowers certainly are. I just hope all the clover in the lawn holds out long enough to satisfy the rabbits until we get the vegetables harvested!

Love your flowers. Here its so dry its not even funny. All our flowers are for dried arrangements!!! Praying for rain all the time. Great to see the lovely flowers. Have a Great Weekend

Thanks for the tips about coneflowers and gold finches..I've been trying to get them to come to our house-we just moved here a few months ago. Your flowers are gorgeous!
