How Many Ways Can You Use Strawberries?

I'm not sure, but I'm doing my best to try everything.  I've made...

• Strawberry Jam
• Strawberry Sauce
• Strawberry Smoothies
• Strawberry Slushies
• Strawberry Infused Vodka
• Strawberry Popsicles
• Strawberry Shortcakes

In addition to the super small batch strawberry jam I made last week, I spent the weekend putting up a whole bunch of Strawberry Vanilla Jam and some Strawberry Margarita Jam too.  

I'm still getting loads of berries from my strawberry plants, but I'm ready for raspberries now.  Too bad our little canes won't produce until the autumn.

Lady you have been busy...are you jammed out???? Strawberry vanilla jam sounds really good. Guess you used up all the strawberries. Good going!!! Not much happening on my end. Just finished up spinning dog hair for a lady in Illinois and mailed it. Now to go to my grandson's graduation tomorrow then back here to dog sit (3) for my boss for a week at her house. Of course going back and forth to mine to deal with my dog and cat. Should be a very busy week..

My strawberry jam has never quite turned out, so I'm trying strawberry butter this year. I've been successful with peach & apple butters in the past, so why not? You just cook it down in the crock pot. I'm making it up as I go along and when it's all said and done, I hope to blog about it.
