I have to say that the new one month rule is really making things better. I was having to keep a *ton* of new sites in the queue, just waiting to see if they would post to their blog again. What a mess! I'm still getting brand spankin' new blogs joining the ring, but I delete them right away. (*Please* take 2 minutes to read the rules before you join!!) So the queue is much cleaner and easier to manage.
There are 361 sites in the ring and 20 in the queue (there were 45!!)

New Rule!!
There have been a lot of people joining the Knitting Blogs Web Ring who have just started a blog. Sometimes people don't understand what is involved in keeping a blog and after one or two posts, they abandon their blogs. Due to the number of people who are joining the ring I am implementing a new rule.
*** If you have just started a blog, please wait until you have been blogging for a month before you join the ring! You will not be added to the ring if your blog is less than a month old. ***
I am hoping that this will eliminate the number of blogs that are joining and then abandoning their blogs. This creates a lot of extra work for me and I simply do not have time for this now that the ring has grown so large.
If you sign up for the ring and I cannot easily determine that your blog is over a month old (and shows regular postings!), you will be deleted from the queue.
Thanks for your cooperation & understanding!

Ring Surf is finally implementing some new features -- thank goodness! It has been a real struggle to maintain the ring during their transition, but things look like they are improving.
There are 348 sites in the ring and 20 in the queue.
I have created a FAQ for the Knitting Blogs Webring. Please check there first before you email me with a question. The Knitting Blogs Webring has gotten quite large and I have created the FAQ to reduce the number of emails I receive.
It will be expanded as I determine which questions I am answering on a regular basis.

Yes, it's the middle of the night. It took me hours to get through the entire ring and the queue. Man, this ring is getting big (am I rambling? I'm very tired right now). Good night.
