Just a rant...I was following the links on blogs and ended up on a blog on Xanga. I could not get out of Xanga and eventually the links lead to xanga blog that were password protected...very frustrating.

You didn't leave the name of the blog, or the url, or anything useful. So why bother leaving this comment, other than to be rude? (And then you didn't even leave your name or email or url -- hmmmm. . . )

Thanks for adding me! I've had a ton of traffic to my blog thanks to you!

wow...that was kind of harsh.
I went back into my history from yesterday and here are some of the issues I found. This site http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=jmui leads to this site http://www.xanga.com/XangaLock.aspx?user=WyldTurtle&ReturnUrl=http%3a%2f%2fwww.xanga.com%2fWyldTurtle which is password protected. This site http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=sean808080 led me to this site http://www.xanga.com/XangaLock.aspx?user=staytru&ReturnUrl=http%3a%2f%2fwww.xanga.com%2fstaytru which is password protected.

There are more examples I can give you but I don't want to take up all your space in the comments. I could not find your e mail to e mail you directly. As far as not leaving my name, I am used to blogger which automatically puts your name on the post. My name is Kim and my blog is at http://kimsknitpage.blogspot.com. You can e mail me at knittingkim@gamail.com if you like. I just thought you might like to know the ring can be frustrating at times. Sorry to have bothered you.

I spend *hundreds* of hours on this ring and don’t get paid and rarely get thanked at all, so when someone leaves a comment telling me the ring sucks and then leaves no useful information to help me correct it – well, how do you expect me to respond.

And btw, Kim, these sites aren't even in my ring. They're in some Xanga ring for knitting blogs. I have nothing to do with this ring.

I know you aren't paid. I don't think I said the ring sucks...I don't think it does. I enjoy surfing the ring. I just thought you might want to know there was an issue. I have no idea how I ended up on the xanga sites. I just followed the links for the knitting bloggers. This is the site that first directed me to a xanga blog http://www.dollydimpleknits.prettyposies.com/ Is that one in the ring?
I apologize if you were offended, I truly didn't mean any harm

Happy fourth to those of you that celebrate it! Hearts all around and thank you for this great ring, ive met SOOO many great people on here!

Cheers!

Does anyone know how I would attach a fabric border to a handknit pillow? I am knitting two rectangular pieces which I will stuff w/ pillow stuffing and sew together at all 4 seams w/ yarn. But then I do I attach a fabric border? With a regular thread and needle?
Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!
Happy Knitting!

Julie, I believe I am in the queue, but since submitting to join and now I have moved to my own site. I was at www.sewmuch.blogspot.com & now at www.madalinejane.com/blog. What should I do about this move? Resubmit to join?

Jennifer, you can go to Ringsurf and log in with the ring ID, site ID, and your password and just edit your original submission.

I did the same thing you did, and was able to update all the info on my own, with no problems when I was added to the ring.

And thanks for adding me! The amount of traffic I get from the ring is really quite amazing.
