Ring will re-open Monday, September 18th!

I hope everyone has had a great summer and found some time for knitting. As the days begin to get shorter and the new yarns and magazines begin to come out, I'm starting to get excited once again about knitting, aren't you? The knitting blogs have been a little quite as they are every summer, but I'm sure that's about to change! And I've decided to open up the ring again for a few weeks beginning September 18th for people who have been wanting to join.

A few things to keep in mind:

• Please do not join before that date! If you do, you will be given an invalid site id.
• You must meet the ring requirements to join. They are posted here. (The rules are posted there too.)
• There will probably be lots of people joining (last time I think there were 400-500 people who joined in the few weeks I had the ring open) so you will need to be patient and look in the FAQ for answers to your questions. I probably won't have time to answer with the rush.

So that's about it for now. I still haven't had time to assign sections to the new ring checkers since I had to go out of town unexpectedly. I hope to get to that next week!
