Ah, Seinfeld. That was one of my favorite episodes! I just wanted to thank you for sharing your book list and book reviews. I am always on the lookout for good reads, and your list opens my eyes to new authors. Thanks so much!

I just ordered the Martha Stewart Baking DVD from Netflix. I hope it is the same stuff although I should really buy the book.

I was amazed at some of the stuff she ate in Julie/Julia. Just going somewhere to buy various organ meats would completely gross me out.

I saw Julie & Julia at the bookstore the other day and was so tempted, but I have way too many books that I've already purchased waiting in line before I buy any more. p.s. I've seen every episode of Seinfeld probably 10 times and still watch it on a regular basis. That was a great episode!

I got J&J as a Christmas present, and I'm reading it now-- it's just so good! I haven't picked it up in a bit, because of a show I'm doing, but I'm picking it up again tomorrow night.

Ok, the thought of how glorious chocolate scones must smell helped me recover from the horror of the lobster...

I love that episode of Seinfeld! I can hear Frank Kostanza's voice as I type! :)
I need to get the Julie and Julia book!
Enjoy your scones! YUM!

Linda

I love both the J&J book and the new Martha baking book. The brownies are amazing. I'll have to give those chocolate scones a try - maybe for breakfast tomorrow, yum.

I totally loved that episode of Seinfeld. I've even been known to say that a time or two when things get a little loud and crazy when the extended family is all together!

Donna

I finished J&J yesterday. It kept me involved, but I have mixed feelings about it.

I went to a friend's house for a Hanukkah Party this year. One of the other guests brought "Latka Larry" - a cartoonish animated doll that waved around a frying pan and sang a song about latkas. The doll was voiced by Jerry Stiller which made the longish song rather amusing. But then it got to the last line, which caused my husband and I to convulse on the floor laughing. The last line? "...which will give me serenity now!
