Sorry, no suggestions, but had to laugh because my very first skein of Malabrigo was orange (but worsted). At the time I thought I was the last to the party.

I liked knitting Herbivore. ;)

I am knitting Multnomah now - fairly simple knit (although I seem to mess those up more than the complicated ones). It's a triangular shawlette with feather & fan. I'm knitting it in a tonal yarn & it looks great would also look nice in a solid. There are a lot of shawlette patterns on Ravelry. I like the Milkweed Shawl which calls for about 320 yds of fingering weigh. I also love 198 Yards of Heaven (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/198-yds-of-heaven) - it's written for Cash Iroha but it would be easy to adapt to fingering weight. I also love 28's Cousin 53 (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/28s-cousin-53). If you don't like any of those you could just search "shawlette" in the patterns - there are a ton. You could also knit mitts - I keep being drawn to the patterns but I'm not sure I'd ever wear them.

Love the color of yarn... I would make a small shawl/summer scarf..very airy type!!

it's a beautiful color, I see more of an autumn scarf. Too boring?
